Overview

Randy Farrar is a licensed Texas attorney with experience practicing law and working within the justice system. His professional background has given him a strong respect for the rule of law and the responsibilities of the Justice of the Peace court.

Justice of the Peace courts often serve as the public's first interaction with the judicial system. The court's role requires fairness, consistency, professionalism, and clear, orderly procedures that help individuals understand the process.

If elected, Randy Farrar is committed to applying the law as written, maintaining appropriate judicial temperament, and administering court proceedings in a fair, impartial, and organized manner.

Runoff Election -- May 26, 2026

Randy Farrar finished second in the March 3rd Republican primary with over 7,000 votes, advancing to the May 26th runoff election against one opponent.

"Over 7,000 people voted for a licensed attorney with no party machine and no agenda other than doing this job the right way. I do not take that lightly. We are not done."

-- Randy Farrar

What Clients Are Saying

Why Legal Experience Matters

Texas does not require a Justice of the Peace to be a licensed attorney. A newly elected JP needs only a 40 hour training course to take the bench. That means someone with zero legal background can begin ruling on your traffic tickets, evictions, small claims, and criminal cases immediately after election.

Randy Farrar has spent his entire career in JP courts across Collin County and surrounding areas. He knows the evidence rules, the procedural requirements, and what a sound ruling looks like from day one.
